We are just a little over two months away from our summer youth mission trip to the Tohono O’odham Nation, based in Sells, AZ.

Sign-Up Deadline - This Sunday, April 11 is the deadline to sign-up for the trip.  The first $100, non-refundable payment is also due on that day.  After this date we are committed to fully pay OneWayMinistries for the number we give them.

Adopt-A-Youth – We had the Adopt-A-Youth table out this past Sunday.  If you haven’t filled out an Adopt-A-Youth form and returned it to Jeb, please do so by Wednesday along with a current picture.

Training Meeting – One other date that is on the youth calendars and is in your mission trip packet but that we want to make sure you haven’t missed is Sunday, May 23.

This is a mandatory training meeting for everyone participating in the trip.

One of the founders of OneWay Ministries, J.T. Turner, is flying into Waco to run most of the meeting for us.

The meeting will run from 12:30 – 5:00 pm.  We need at least one parent per family present from 12:30 – 2:00 pm.  Lunch will be included.

Adult Leaders – We are looking for on more female adult leader.  Our current adult leaders are Jeb Barr, Steve Troxel, and Tina Bissell.  Any interested parents or youth leaders, please talk to Jeb this week.

Prayer – Whether you can go or send your students this year or not, we invite you to join Jeb in praying for those that do go.  These trips are often pivotal points in the spiritual development of our students, and they make a big impact on the culture of our Student Ministry.
