We need youth families to get donated items or services from local businessess for the auction and turned in to Jeb by May 18. You may also have a particular skill or specialty that you could donate.

When your family donates an item or service, half of the money raised by that goes straight towards the cost of your mission trip. The other half gets dispersed evenly among the other mission trip participants.

Pick up an auction advertisement card from the Adopt-A-Youth table to spread the word!

Friday, May 11 8:00 am – 9:00 pm
Drop off yard sale items at church.

Friday, May 11 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm
We need lots of people to receive and organize donations.  We also need people with trucks and/or trailers to pick-up large items from families who can’t get them to the church.
Free pizza at 7:00 pm for all the volunteers.

Saturday, May 12
5:00 am – 6:00 am
We need a few morning people to open up the sale.  We’ll have donuts.

6:00 am – 2:00 pm
We’ll need lots of help running the sale.
We could also use someone to make sandwiches for the workers around lunchtime.

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
We need a bunch of folks to clean-up and load unsold items.
We’ll need trucks and/or trailers to take away the unsold items.

Students earn money towards their trip according to how long they work.

Theme: The Grid: who Defines Your Reality

Dates: April 27-29

Location: Dayspring Campground
Outside West, TX (about 40 minute drive from church)

Guys will camp out in tents; girls will stay in the camp dorm.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP 2012

Cost $600 minus what your student raises through fundraisers. $625 if you sign up after April 15. Cost includes conference fee, hotel fee, meals, fuel, group activities, and ministry supplies. Students only need to bring extra spending money.
